Korean Spicy Noodles

It's still a good challenge to try out before and still a good challenge to try at present. People are still game of consuming extremely spicy Korean instant noodles.

Either they are doing it for a challenge or just to satisfy their spicy cravings, you can't deny that the spiciness and heat can be quite intense. So, we give you some useful tips to help you conquer, beat the heat, and finish those spicy noodles whole.

Don't Drink Soda

The most basic tip for surviving a spicy noodle challenge is not to have a soda as beverage. Instead of cooling down and wash out the spice, the fizz just only makes it even worse. A plain glass of water would do the trick. It's up to you if you want it ice cold or not.

Eat At Your Own Pace

This is only applicable when you're really asked to do a challenge. Don't rush. Just eat at your own pace. Don't consume a lot of the noodles at once to speed up and finish your plate. You would just end up choking yourself or make the spice unbearable for you to swallow.

Take a Break In Between

In connection to the previous tip, take some time to breathe in between while consuming the spicy noodles. You can also use the in-between "breaks" to consume water just clear up your throat before you continue.

Just Focus On Your Plate

If you're doing the spicy noodles challenge, the secret is to just focus on your own plate. Do not feel pressured by the other challengers. The goal is to finish your plate clean. Just focus on your plate and make sure you don't get choked on the spice.

If You Can't Take It Anymore, Don't Finish It

If the spiciness of the noodles is at a peak that you can't finish it, then don't force yourself. Consuming too much spice is, after all, not good for your body.

We hope these tips would help you beat the heat. Eat safely and responsibly!
