‘Demon Slayer Movie’ Leaked On PlayStation Network – What Happened?
The highly anticipated "Demon Slayer - Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train" premiered in the United States last week and was an instant hit in the box office. However, users have reported that a clear and official copy of the movie is available for purchase and download in the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4 users. It was up for just three hours in the PSN Store until it was immediately unlisted.
This caused confusion as many people have assumed that a digital and physical release of the movie will be shipped and released at a later date, June 22. As of press time, there is still no one if this release was a leak or an honest mistake on Sony's part.
The version of the movie that was listed in the PSN Store was the original Japanese language (possibly with English subtitles.)
The first weekend screenings for the highly anticipated "Demon Slayer" anime movie "Demon Slayer - Kimetsu No Yaiba The Movie: Mugen Train" is so far the highest opening weekend earnings ever for a foreign-language film in the country. News sources reported that the film had earned USD $19,542,227 on its opening weekend alone. It also the third-ever high opening weekend in the country for an anime film.
There will also be 4DX and IMAX screens for the film. It is also confirmed that there will be digital and home video releases for the film. For digital release, it will be available on June 22 and will be distributed on Google Play, Microsoft Store, Vudu, PlayStation, Amazon, and Apple TV.
In "Demon Slayer the Movie: Mugen Train," movie, Tanjiro and the group have completed the rehabilitation training at the Butterfly Mansion, and they arrive on their next mission on the Mugen Train, where over 40 people have disappeared in a very short period of time. Tanjiro and Nezuko, along with Zenitsu and Inosuke, join one of the most powerful swordsmen within the Demon Slayer Corps, Flame Hashira Kyojuro Rengoku, to face the demon aboard the Mugen Train on track to despair.
