BTS To Release Digital Single ‘Butter’ In May
It was announced by BigHit Music on Monday that the K-pop group BTS is finally returning soon in May with a new digital single "Butter."
As of this time, there is not much info yet of what the single contains but by the single title alone, "Butter" is sure to melt the hearts of ARMYs.
The comeback is scheduled on May 21, 2021 13:00 Korea Standard Time or 12 midnight Eastern Standard Time.
BTS or Bangtan Sonyeondan debuted in 2010 under the South Korean record label HYBE (formally Big Hit Entertainment.) The group members are the following: Jimin, SUGA, RM, Jin, Jung Kook, V, and J-Hope. The group previously teased their comeback.
It was also announced that a BTS visual exhibition that is based on the group's "Seven Phases" series will be happening in the soon-to-open museum HYBE Insight. The visuals will be illustrated by U.S.-based visual artist James Jean.
According to reports, the said museum is a way to continue and operate HYBE's mission statement, "We Believe in Music." The museum aims to be a cultural space for all things related to HYBE, as well as a place to promote and commemorate the groups under their label and their respective fandoms.
For those who are interested in getting tickets for the museum, you may purchase them on HYBE Insight's official website. For those who are considering visiting the venue at a later time, tickets may also be available for purchase in the official mobile app launches on May 3.
The local media were previously anxious and some were desperate to know the official date of BTS's much-awaited comeback.
A reporter of an article shared this information: "According to entertainment insiders, BTS will most likely make a comeback in May. Since they have been making their releases on Fridays, in order to target the global market, it will probably take place on May 7th, 14th, 21st, or the 28th."
With an official release late now revealed, all we have to do now is wait.
