SHINee's Taemin to Unveil First OST in 6 Years for 'Navillera'

For the first time in 6 years, SHINee's Taemin unveils his first OST titled "My Day." This captivating song is the original soundtrack for the Korean tv drama "Navillera." 

Taemin's "My Day" is a soft and passionate ballad song. His light voice incorporates color into the idyllic melody. This the sixth time that he participates in an OST drama. He also sang "U" for the 2012 drama "To The Beautiful You" and "Steps" for a Korean TV Show, "Prime Minister and I" in 2014. He also sang two other OST songs titled "What's This Feeling" and "I'm Crying" for "Final Life," K-drama in 2017.

"Navillera" is a story about a 70-year-old man with a dream and a 23-year-old with a talent. They help each other to overcome unpleasant realities and stand high to the struggles of becoming a ballerino.  

Taemin's OST will serve as the finale theme song of the Korean drama, which aired on March 22nd. The song will mark his initial collaboration in an OST after almost the release of "Your Name" in 2015. He sang a duet with late Jonghyun, another group member, for the KBS drama, "Who Are You: School 2015."

Before Taemin's OST launch, he made a much-awaited return as a soloist and participated in a full-group SHINee's reemergence. As his group mates Key, Onew, and Minho pursued their military service, Taemin released his third Korean studio album titled, "Never Gonna Dance Again." This marked his solo comeback after over a year following the launching of his second Korean extended song titled "Want" in February 2019.

The release of the song "My Day" is slated to be aired on the fourth episode date of "Navillera," March 30th at 6 PM KST. The program is a new ballet-themed Korean drama established on a webtoon of the same moniker. It's about people who struggle to accomplish their greatest dreams. Casts include Park In Hwan, Hong Seung Hee, Na Moon Hee, and Song Kang.
