Miss Universe Will Happen At The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino In Florida
The Miss Universe pageant has chosen the official host city for its upcoming edition. It is happening in Hollywood, Florida.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Florida State has been selected as the official venue. This is contrary to previous reports that the world's most prestigious pageant will be held in Miami, Florida.
Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart said, "We have spent months planning and preparing safety precautions to develop this edition of Miss Universe-one that will be memorable, special and totally innovative. I look forward to seeing this work come to fruition and crowning a new Miss Universe in May."
It is slated to be conducted this May 16th.
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is known for the world's first guitar-shaped hotel, with swimming pools, a casino, and an area for dining and entertainment. It also hosts a spectacular light show.
The Miss Universe is a three-hour event that will feature women across various countries competing in swimsuits, evening gowns, and interviews. Incumbent titleholder Zozibini Tunzi will crown her successor at the event.
COVID-19 health protocols will strictly be followed at the event.
Meanwhile, former Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has been chosen as the first titleholder of the pageant to walk for the Arab Fashion Week.
The former Miss Universe from the Philippines will be gracing the opening of the Arab Fashion Week on March 24th, wearing the collection of Furne One of Amato Couture in Dubai. He has been the decider to many Hollywood celebrities.
Pia Wurtzbach will also be starring in a fashion film with Dubai-based director Alex Suhorucov to be recreated in an imaginary setting in Sharjah's Buhais Geology Park in the Middle Eastern county. It will be themed with innovative rock formation and geological landscape. Dubai-based Yugen PR is in partnership with this project.
