Cosmopolitan Releases Song Joong-ki's Never-Before-Seen Baby Photos
"Vincenzo," the newest Korean drama with A-list actor Song Joong-ki, is now on its first week. It is soaring high in its ratings, keeping its position at the top one since the launch.
According to data at Nielsen Korea, the fourth episode of "Vincenzo" on February 28th garnered a nationwide TV rating of 10.13 percent, placing first among cable television shows and those on a similar time slot on cable in South Korea.
This revenge-themed K-Drama is gaining attention, and the plot twists are getting even more intense in the previous episode. The last episode featured Song Joong-ki's character, Vincenzo and Hong Yoo Chan, running into trouble to combat the villains, uncover the secrets of the Babel Group, and more. The fictitious Babel Group illegally produces products, and this is what Vincenzo aims to resolve.
Netflix's "Vincenzo" tells the story of Vincenzo Cassano, an Italian lawyer and Mafia consigliere who was raised in Korea but was later adopted by his Italian family at a very young age. He travels back to Korea, crossing paths with his leading lady, Jeon Yeo-been's Hong Cha Young. They are taking down villains under the rule of law.
Just in time for the success of the K-Drama, fashion and entertainment magazine Cosmopolitan has released never-before-seen baby pictures of Song Joong-ki. There was a photo of the actor at his young age wearing a black sleeveless printed top, as well as shorts tucked-in.
There was also a picture, a headshot of Song Joong-ki awkwardly smiling at the camera, sporting a hairdo that was popular during that time.
On "Vincenzo," Song Joong-ki stars alongside Jeon Yeo-Bin, TaecYeon, Jo Han-Chul, Yang Seung-Won, Kim Yeo-Jin, Seo Jin-Won, Hwang Tae-Kwang, Kwak Dong-Yeon, Na Chul, Kim Jin-Bok, Lim Jae-Geun, and so much more.
New episodes of "Vincenzo" show Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m. on Netflix.
