Lady Gaga's Dogs Were Stolen; Singer Offers $500,000 To Get Her Dogs Back
Lady Gaga's two bulldogs were kidnapped after a gunman shot her dog walker in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on Wednesday night.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD), a man was shot during a robbery before 10 P.M., and the victim was transferred to the nearest hospital in stable condition.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) added that the suspect took the two bulldogs from the victim using a semi-automatic handgun and fled the scene in a white sedan.
The camp of "Stupid Love" singer, who is presently in Italy, confirms the victim was the singer's dog walker, and the two dogs were her French bulldogs, Koji and Gustav.
The authorities later found a third bulldog, Miss Asia, who escaped from the crime scene.
The singer, in real life name Stefani Germanotta, offered a $500,000 reward to try and get her pets back.
Authorities disclosed the two suspects' following details, stressing that they were driving a white Nissan Altima and open-fired from the car. Suspects snagged the two dogs and returned to the car before leaving the place.
According to Police, suspect one is described as "Male, black hat, black hooded sweatshirt," and suspect two is described as "Gender unknown, all black clothing."
The singer is known to be overly protective of her dogs and even has an Instagram account dedicated to them.
A source said that French bulldogs are immensely popular and in much demand, but they are notoriously difficult to breed. They require artificial insemination, and the dog's physical characteristics - a large head and shoulders - mean they usually have to be delivered by Caesarean section.
Lady Gaga is currently in Italy to begin production on her latest film, "Gucci," for which she is portraying Maurizio Gucci's ex-wife, Patrizia Reggiani. The upcoming fashion movie is directed by Ridley Scott and stars Jared Leto, Al Pacino, and Adam Driver.
