Here Are The 15 Most Financial-Savvy Idols, According to Idol Chart

Idol Chart surveyed from Nov. 23 to Nov. 29 asking, "Who is a star who is likely to be good at financial technology such as stocks and real estate?" Many names appeared on the list, but the top 15 remains the best of the best as the most financial-savvy idols. Here are the top 15 in descending order, plus why are they part of the list.

15. WINNER's Song Mino (99 votes)

Song Mino earns royalties as a producer and different endorsements. Right now, he is the face of Lotte's "Let's Be" coffee and the game "Penta Storm: The Strike of Kings." He is also the ambassador for Burberry and collaborated with the brand Gentle Monster.

14. AKMU's Lee Chanhyuk (118 votes)

Being a producer and co-writer of songs earns him a ton of royalties. He has produced songs for AKMU, Younha, and Bang Yedam. It's given that he also earns big with his activities as part of AKMU.

13. EXO's Sehun (174 votes)

Do you know that Sehun is a songwriter in the KOMCA? He has fourteen songs credited with co-writing and co-producing, meaning he earns royalties from those songs. That is one of the reasons why EXO's Sehun is one financial-savvy idol out there. Not only that, but he is also an actor and brand ambassador for Dior Men and Ermenegildo Zegna, to name a few.

Jisoo starts 2020 strong being a co-writer for BLACKPINK's song "Lovesick Girls" and bagging the main role for the upcoming drama "Snowdrop." She is also the face of Kiss Me, a South Korean cosmetic brand, Dior and Cartier.

Seulgi has a talent not only in singing and dancing but also in bagging successful endorsement deals. She became Converse Korea's first female brand ambassador in 2018 and was named the ambassador of L'Occitance X OMY's "City Palette" campaign in 2019.

Shownu has done some solo activities like working on drama soundtracks and appearing in numerous variety shows. He also does interesting jobs like being an audiobook narrator!

A multi-talented star like Taeyeon has the ability to earn more than on her idol earnings. She is an actress and previously a radio show host in the past. Dubbed as a "completed piece" because of her overflowing skills and talents that make her a finance mogul.

7. Suzy (798 votes)

Suzy fits her title as South Korea's "CF Queen" as she brings home a lot of money from her endorsement deals. In 2013 alone, she gained 14 endorsements, which equals 10 billion won in a total of her contracts. Suzy is also an actress and a singer too.

6. TWICE's Jihyo (1,151 votes)

Jihyo is both an idol and a songwriter. She's even co-written eight TWICE songs to date, and four of those were solely written by her. Royalties on hit songs make up her bread and butter.

5. Ong Seongwu (1,430 votes)

Although he experienced disbandment with his former group Wanna One, Ong Seongwu pursued a career as an actor and saw success in that industry. He also debuts as a soloist.

4. AB6IX's Lee Daehwi (2,973 votes)

Lee Daehwi is a former Wanna One member and currently is on AB6IX. He is also a registered songwriter at the KOMCA with 29 songs credited to him, and he's the endorser of Fanta pineapple flavor.

3. BTS's J-Hope (11,645 votes)

Known as the richest member of BTS, J-Hope has written over 100 songs he earns royalties from. He has written for BTS, himself, and Jo Kwon. Besides promoting with the most successful K-Pop boy group, BTS, he also owns a luxury apartment in Seoul worth USD 1.6 million.

Young Tak's career started soaring when he won second place on the Mnet show called "Mr. Trot." He also appeared in several variety shows and dramas, which he also earned from.

1. BTS's Jungkook (15,283 votes)

Jungkook is only 23 years old, but he's making serious money. Often called BTS's golden maknae, part of his earning came from the royalties of the eighteen songs he had written. He also bought a USD 1.7 million luxury apartment, which he rents out too.
