K-Pop Celebrities Share Photos Of Their Christmas Celebration On Instagram
It has been a challenging and difficult year for everyone amid the global pandemic, but this did not stop people from celebrating Christmas and its traditions, even in the K-Pop world. Several Korean artists in the music industry shared Christmas photos online, inviting their fans virtually to participate in the festivity.
EXO's Instagram featured one of their members, Kai, captured with the Christmas tree and gifts in his background.
It is a campaign for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF). EXO captioned the post, "Could you be a child's Santa with Kai? Looking forward to new hopes in 2021, join Kai to become the world's children's Santa."
MAMAMOO, with artists Moonbyul, Wheein, Solar, and Hwasa, posted a screengrab of their music video, which had them singing on the staircase designed with Christmas decors.
The Instagram account of TWICE is among those in the K-Pop industry that got the most number of Christmas-themed posts. There was Nayeon looking fabulous in her winter outdoor clothing, complete with the accessories and headdress. It seems she was out for an adventure during that day. There was no caption, except for three Christmas tree emojis.
The official Instagram of TWICE also featured two headshots of Sana with a tiny Christmas tree makeup on her upper cheek. It was captioned, "Merry Christmas" with emojis of a snowflake and white heart.
The fans are loving it. There were fans from around the world who posted responses to the Instagram post in their respective languages. Netizen @dahyuntwicey reacted, "BEAUTIFUL" with emojis.
The recent photo themed with Christmas on TWICE's Instagram featured the members dressed as snowman mascots straight from the recently held 2020 SBS Gayo Daejeon.
