Although Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have dated on and off for a long time, their marriage lasted less than a year. While the separation seems to be amicable, there are some reports that surfaced that Liam is planning to sue his ex-wife for defamation.

In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine released earlier this month, it seems that Miley implied that her drug use was uncontrollable when she was still married. There were also some who said that Liam might have been the one with the wilder personality, despite Miley's reputation.

But Gossip Cop has refuted these claims, saying that Liam has absolutely no plans to bring Miley to court. The two have largely kept quiet about their separation, although Miley has broken her silence lately.

In fact, Miley had nothing negative to say about her ex-husband. In fact, what she said was that she loves Liam and she always will. But she admits that the marriage was never healthy, being as she dove into the marriage to save herself.

Fans of the ex-couple were surprised when the two suddenly got married. Now Miley admits that the decision to wed was the result of losing everything except Liam. It will be remembered that the two lost their home during the California Woolsey Fire. Miley was not present during that time, and it was up to Liam to save their various pets. They could not save any of their belongings, including precious memorabilia that belonged to her family.

The loss may have put too much strain on the singer, which has led her to cling to Hemsworth more. But it was not enough, and the marriage eventually failed.

The two have eventually moved on, with Miley starting a relationship with friend Cody Simpson while Liam has since moved to Australia and is said to be dating model Gabriella Brooks.
