Grammy 2021 Nominees Unveiled, Did Your Favorite Artists Make The Cut?

The nominees for the 63rd annual Grammy Awards have been revealed Tuesday, and Beyoncé is making history as the artist with the most nominations. See who among your favorites are included. 

Beyoncé led the nominees with nine nominations in eight categories, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, Best Music Video, Best Music Film.

Her "Black Parade" is nominated Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance, and Best R&B Song. "Savage" is also in the Record of the Year, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song nominees lists. 

"Black Parade" is a charity song released on June 19th, 2020 or Juneteenth, a day that came from her home state. Meanwhile, her "Brown Skin Girl" is nominated for Best Music Video, with her "Black Is King" for Best Music Film. 

This 39-year-old Texas-born singer now holds 79 nominations and 24 wins, earning her the reputation of being the most-nominated female artist in the history of the Grammys. 

She shares this historical moment with Paul McCartney and trailing her husband Jay-Z and Quincy Jones who both have 80 nominations. 

Following the leaderboard are Taylor Swift, Roddy Rich, and Dua Lipa with six nominations each. Swift recently is the recipient of the 2020 American Music Awards Artist of the Year, Favorite Music Video for her "Cardigan," Favorite Female Artist, and Favorite Album with "folklore." 

On Wednesday, Disney+ is streaming Swift's "folklore: the long pond studio sessions." The streaming show is filmed in upstate New York in September, and she herself directed. It will feature 17 songs from her recent album while giving the viewers a glimpse of the stories behind each of these songs. 

More notable nominations include Doja Cat's "Say So" for Record of the Year, Coldplay's "Everyday Life" for Album of the Year, Billie Eilish's "Everything I Wanted," among many others. Competing in Best New Artist are Phoebe Bridgers, Ingrid Andress, Doja Cat, Kaytranada, Megan Thee Stallion, Noah Cyrus, Chika, and D Smoke.

The 2021 Grammy Awards will happen on January 31st, 2021.
