BTS Heartbreak: Jungkook Beats Keith Urban, Paul Mescal, Dan Levy; Boyband Loses To Harry Styles In New Poll
Jungkook might be the youngest in the phenomenal South Korean boy band group BTS but it does not mean that he could not achieve great things like his co-members. In fact, he ranked as the third most-loved celebrity in South Korea in a 2019 Gallup Korea survey. His popularity even earned him the "Sold Out King" moniker after items he was spotted using often sell out quickly.
Recently, Jungkook made another achievement when PEOPLE Magazine named him as the Sexiest International Man. The BTS member was part of the nominees for the PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive 2020: Readers' Choice Poll in October. Other personalities who made it to the list include Keith Urban, Paul Mescal, Matthew Rhys, and Dan Levy.
The poll ran for 30 days and the publication proclaimed Jungkook as the winner of his category. Reports have it that Jungkook is the very first personality who was named as PEOPLE's Sexiest International Man 2020.
However, BTS, who was also part of the nominees for the Sexiest Chart Topper category, failed to nab the title. The "FAKE LOVE" hitmakers contested against Roddy Ricch, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, and One Direction member Harry Styles, who was proclaimed as the winner.
Meanwhile, Jungkook was revealed to be at the helm for BTS' upcoming music video for their track called "Life Goes On." The "golden maknae" directed the MV with the help of Yoo Jin Hye and Choi Yong Seok, who took the assistant director chairs. Jin Hye and Yong Seok, according to reports, are part of the Lumpens creative team, which were the brain behind the group's most trending music videos.
On Tuesday, BTS dropped a teaser for the imminent "Life Goes On" music video. In the clip, Jungkook, V, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, Suga, and Jin were seen having a good time together at a campfire. There was, also, a scene where all boys donned their cute pajamas as they gathered around to watch a video.
