BTS has hit yet another amazing feat. The K-pop group not only reached their first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 single with their song "Dynamite," but they also became the first all-South Korean group to accomplish the milestone.

"Dynamite" was released in late August. The vibrant track has disco dance vibes and encourages listeners to look at the bright side.

"The goal of 'Dynamite' is really simple... to explore the world with positive vibes and energy," BTS member, RM said during an interview with USA Today last month.
"We've been through all the sadness and desperation but with this song and performance we just hope the world gets more positive."

BTS members were also elated at the news of their first Billboard No. 1. The group held a press conference to discuss the achievement. The responses by the members were given in Korean and translated to English.

"It still feels like a dream. I don't know if this is reality, I am still shaking, I am still excited," J-Hope shared. "We started this because we love music, because we love dancing, I am very happy and excited that our sincerity resonated. The energy we received from our fans allowed us to keep going."

Jungkook said, "I wasn't sure if what I was looking at was really real. I was just out of it for a little bit. It's really our Army who helped us reach this milestone... Since we have that result, we want to reach for even more heights." Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, turned 23 years old on the same day. He added that the Billboard news is a "huge birthday present."

BTS also expressed their deepest gratitude towards Army, their fandom.

Jin said: "'Dynamite' was a song we worked on, that began with our desire to enjoy together with our fans, and amidst this enjoyment we were able to reach this goal. It is because of Army that we exist, and we want to continue giving this happiness and joy to Army."

BTS is set to drop their album later this year. No date has been announced yet. After snagging some awards at the VMAs' recently, the K-pop group is looking forward towards the Grammys. Nominees will be announced later this year.
