BTS's V Confirms Jimin's Revelation About His Upcoming Self-Composed Song; Fans Share Their Theories About Taehyung's 'Gift'
BTS member Jimin can't just hold his excitement over his best friend and bandmate V upcoming self-composed track. The singer from Busan revealed himself what V is preparing as a gift for BTS ARMY.
Jimin has somewhat put V in a tight spot when he revealed during his recent V Live session that his fellow BTS vocal will also set to release his new self-penned song. Later on, Kim Taehyung, also known by his stage name V, confirmed Jimin's announced.
Jimin goes live on V Live over the weekend and talked about his first ever song, titled "Promise," that he has written himself. Then he revealed that Taehyung is working on a new song for their fans. Jimin said he is very excited to hear the track himself.
He confessed that he hasn't heard any lines in V's upcoming song. But Jimin added that he already told the "Singularity" singer that he wants to listen to it once he is finished.
After his broadcast, Jimin took to Twitter to once again tease about V's song. He also showed how he adores his bandmate and their fans were freaking out of their cute exchange of messages on Twitter.
"I love you, Taehyung. Everyone, let's wait for Taehyung! I'm reaaaaaally looking forward to it toooooooo!," he wrote along with red and purple hearts and the hashtag in Korean that says, "Taehyung I love and cherish you."
V, later on, replied on Jimin's tweet. He confirmed that everything his fellow BTS member has said on his V Live is all true. Jimin again responded with a selfie and another message telling Taehyung has he is really looking forward to the latter's song. Many fans also shared their excitement about the good news.
"I can't even function anymore. First Jimin-ssi and now Taehyung-ssi. Ahhh they're going to be the death of me," one fan commented.
As BTS ARMY may recall, V already hinted about a project that he is working on during their Daesang acceptance speech at the 28th Seoul Music Awards. Taehyung mentioned that taking photos for almost five years now. Then said he is work hard on a special "gift" for ARMY that he would release sometime this year. These made many fans to speculate that it could be a coffee table book of BTS. The book will feature the photos that were taken by Vante, Taehyung's pseudonym as a photographer.
However, since Jimin mentioned a self-composed song of V, some BTS ARMY now think that the song may include cover photos taken by Vante. Jimin's song, "Promise," has also featured an image of the singer from V's photo collection.
Meanwhile, others have also shared their thoughts about V's speech at SMA and Jimin's revelation recently. They believe that V will release a new non-album solo track along with a music video that features his and BTS's photos that he had collection throughout the years.
This is not the first time V released a self-written song. He wrote and produced the song
"4 O'Clock" along with his fellow BTS member RM. He also co-wrote and co-produced the song "Hold Me Tight" and contributed to writing lyrics for "Boyz with Fun." V's melody was also used in BTS's song "Run."
