Korean-American child model Ella Gross has signed a contract with The Black Label, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment launched by famed producer Teddy. This could mean a whole different world for the young model, as talks of her becoming the newest K-pop star is reportedly in the pipeline.

The news of her contract with the Korean entertainment agency came to light when Ella posted a picture of herself with BLACKPINK's Jennie on her Instagram account. She then tagged the K-pop star and The Black Label's official account.

Many believe she will soon debut as a member of a girl group or a solo artist in South Korea once she completes training. Commonly, K-pop artists train for years before they get introduced to the public, which could mean we'll have to wait a while before Ella gets her spotlight.

Who is Ella Gross?

Ella is 10-year-old girl from Los Angeles, California, born to a Korean mother and an American father. According to her mom, Ella is a "kind-hearted, goofy, humble and sweet kid who loves to read Harry Potter, make up songs, dance with her friends, and act so she can play different characters."

She was first thrown into the spotlight at age two when she was featured in a cover of a magazine. She had to stop for a while to attend kindergarten and resumed her career when she entered first grade. Ella caught the eye of many with her extraordinary looks, with many describing her beauty as the best of both worlds.

By the age of eight, Ella became the face of several international clothing brands including GAP Kids, Levi's, Abercrombie & Fitch, and Zara Kids. She wasn't born with exceptional looks alone—she can also play the guitar, dance, and is keen on completing her ballet training. She also appeared in four episodes of the television version of Heathers as Young Betty.

As of writing, both YG Entertainment and Ella's management haven't confirmed the existence of the contract. No word is out yet about the young model's future projects with The Black Label or YG Entertainment. For now, we'll have to wait where Ella's career will take her.
