GOT7 News: K-Pop Band To Appear On NYC’s Morning Show 'Good Day New York' Next Month
GOT7 will perform for their fans in the United States next month, and as a bonus, the boys are also set to appear in an episode of the morning show Good Day New York. The good news has been confirmed by the host of the NYC's talk show itself.
GOT7 is currently busy traveling around the globe for their 2018 Eyes On You World Tour. The K-pop group members are set to visit three major cities in the United States next month. This prompted their fans, who are also called the aghase, to ask the boys to make a guest appearance in a popular talk show while in New York City.
Last month, GOT7 fans launched a social media campaign to bring the group on Good Day New York. The hashtag #BringGOT7toGDNY has been trending since. The campaign caught the attention of GDNY host Rosanna Scotto.
She decided to join the efforts of aghase to bring GOT7 on their show. Scotto also encouraged the band's followers to continue to use the hashtag while she regularly updates them on the progress of her efforts to guest the group on their show.
On June 19, Scotto announced the good news on Twitter that the GOT7 fans have been waiting for. Scotto revealed on Twitter that the seven-member K-pop act would indeed appear on their show. GOT7 has yet to confirm the news, but Scotto's post is more than enough for aghase to rejoice. Many took to Twitter to thank Scotto for recognizing GOT7 and her effort to bring the boys on their show.
Fans have been flooding Scotto's Twitter account with kind words and expressing their gratitude to the host for helping the boys get recognized in the U.S. So far, no details for the filming of the GOT7 segment and its airing day have been announced.
"OMG really @rosannascotto??? Thank you so much! This is really precious for us, we really appreciate for that, thank for bring GOT7 to GDNY! Thank you so much. GOT7 Deserves the World," one fan wrote.
JB, Mark, Jackson, Jinyoung, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom are set to perform at the Barclays Center in NYC on July 11. Aside from New York, GOT7 will also be making stops in Los Angeles and Houston, Texas. Then they will travel to Mexico City, Buenos Aires, and Santiago for the Latin America leg of their tour.
The "Look" hitmakers recently performed for their fans in Taipei. Prior to their Taiwan stop, GOT7 had performed in their home country Seoul and also visited Bangkok, Macau, Moscow, Berlin, and Paris.
