BTS Shares New Family Photos For 2018 BTS Festa + Jin's New Cover Of 'In Front of the Post Office in Autumn'
BTS is celebrating their fifth year in the industry this month. As part of the 2018 BTS Festa, the K-pop band released their new group photos while Jin also dropped a special cover of a hit 90s song.
In keeping with their annual tradition of sharing "family photos," all seven members of BTS released some brand new sets of adorable snaps. The first set of portraits feature the members neatly dressed up in black suits. One of the photos also showed RM, Jin, Jimin, J-Hope, Suga, V, and Jungkook donning some colorful eyewear.
In another set of images, all seven members brought out their athletic side as they are clad with athletic gear. The idols were sporting in baggy jerseys, trainers, and headbands as they randomly use picture frames to strike creative poses.
A number of photos show V, Jin, and Suga in protective gear while J-Hope clowns around in his typical comical style. Jimin, RM, and Jungkook, on the other hand, pose on a bench, also holding protective gear and hockey sticks while RM striking his cool look.
As part of the 2018 BTS Festa celebration, the Bangtan Boys earlier released a brit rock remix of "Spring Day" and a series of interviews. They also shared a collection of throwback photos and a sneak peek of their dance rehearsal for "Not Today" performance at the 32nd Golden Disc Awards.
Meanwhile, Jin also released a special cover as part of the "Interlude Ceremony" to 2018 BTS Festa celebration. Jin released his version of the popular South Korean 90s song, "In Front of the Post Office in Autumn." The single was originally released in 1994 by Yoon Do-hyun. The BTS idol's remake version was uploaded to BTS's SoundCloud account on June 8 midnight KST.
During the BTS Festa celebration last year, RM and V dropped the original song "4 O'Clock." Jungkook and Jimin released a cover of Selena Gomez and Charlie Puth's hit "We Don't Talk Anymore" while Jin, Suga, and Jungkook made an alternate version of "So Far Away." The song was originally released on Suga's Agust D album.
TS is celebrating their fifth anniversary this year, as well as the global success of their latest album, Love Yourself: Tear. The Korean chart-topping act kicked off the two-week long celebration which will culminate in a special fan meet on June 13 at 8 p.m. KST. The special event for BTS Army will be held at the Blue Square I'Market Hall in Seoul. The fan meeting, titled "2018 BTS PROM PARTY - Re;view & Pre;view," will be broadcast on V Live.
