MONSTA X members Kihyun and Jooheon took part in the first part of the official soundtrack of new Korean drama titled Investigation Couple. The K-drama stars Train To Busan star Jung Yu-Mi.

The show's OST "Can't Breathe" features a blend of hip-hop and synth pop that give Investigation Couple the upbeat vibe that is perfect for a crime drama. This is not the first time MONSTA X's Kihyun and Jooheon recorded an OST for a Korean show. They previously did the Orange Marmalade's OST, titled "Attracted Woman." Check out below the making of "Can't Breathe" OST with Kihyun and Jooheon.

Investigation Couple premiered on May 14. It airs Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST. Aside from Jung, the show also stars Jung Jae Young, Lee Yoo Kyung, and Stephanie Lee. The crime drama tells the story of a forensic scientist and a female rookie prosecutor who work together to solve unusual crimes.

Jung Jae Young plays the role of Baek Beom who works as a forensic doctor for 10 years. He has bad traits but he is the best in his field. Jung Yu-Mi portrays the character Eun Sol, a rookie prosecutor with a good heart. She has a bright personality and possesses a photographic memory. Eun Sol comes from wealthy family background. She and Baek Beom work together to solve cases by using human and scientific investigation.

Meanwhile, Kihyun and Jooheon along with bandmates Shownu, Wonho, Minhyuk, Hyungwon, and I.M. T celebrated their third year in the industry on May 14. The group also released their sixth mini album The Connect: Dejavu last month. It contains seven tracks with the lead title track "Jealousy," Wonho's co-written song "If Only," and "Special" which was co-written by Jooheon.

The Korean boy band also successfully concluded their first ever Japan tour last week. The group's sold-out MONSTA X 1st Japan Tour 2018 "PIECE" gathered a total of 20,000 fans in six concert dates in four cities across the country. The tour is part of their promotion for their first Japanese-language album Piece.

MONSTA X is currently prepping for their second world tour, The Connect, which will kick off in Seoul on May 26-27. The group will then head in London, Amsterdam, and Madrid for the Europe leg of the tour. MONSTA X will be back in Asia early month before traveling to the U.S. The K-pop band will have shows in several cities in America including Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. They will end the tour in South America leg in August.
