Wannables will be gifted with Wanna One cartoon characters very soon. The K-pop group has been working with a renowned South Korean Marvel artist for the special project of illustrating the idols.

Wanna One is embarking on a new project to further their high brand reputation. It has been confirmed that the Wanna One members are currently collaborating with Marvel artist Lee Ji Hyung for their cartoon illustrations.

Reports indicate that Lee has been tasked to draw the Wanna One members while emphasizing the idols' distinct characteristics. No release date has been announced as of yet, but fans are expecting that it will drop before the group kicks off their Wanna One World Tour - ONE: THE WORLD in June.

"It is true that Wanna One and Marvel artist Lee Ji Hyung are working on a character collaboration. The timing [of the release] has not been decided yet," the source from Wanna One camp said (via Soompi).

Lee Ji Hyung is one of the illustrators of the elite Marvel artists' list. The South Korean artist is a comic book cover illustrator of the publishing company. He is also the art director for the Marvel-Netmarble mobile game titled Marvel Future Fight. The game currently has 157 playable characters including the heroes from The Avengers: Infinity War.

Meanwhile, Wanna One is also currently busy with another collaboration project. The K-pop idols are working with Korean artists Block B's Zico, Heize, Dynamic Duo, and Nell for their first ever unit collaboration album 1÷χ=1 (UNDIVIDED). The group dropped the first teaser video for the EP last week. It is expected to be released on June 4.

The K-pop group also appeared in the debut episode of JTBC's new variety show Idol Room. Wanna One arrived in the show with a congratulatory gift for show hosts Jung Hyung Don and Defconn.

The two MCs then challenged the boys to play the opening segment of their new show which is called "357 Dance." MC Jung Hyung Don first warned the Wanna One members that the game is challenging before he gave the mechanics of the game. Jung also offered a very expense beef meal as a prize if the group will complete the game.

"Last time we went out to eat beef, the bill came out 3,500,000 KRW (approx. $3,282)," the boys said about Jung's price.

The idols were able to play (or dance) the game with a very slight hitch. Jung Hyung Don expressed his surprise of the band's cleverness but also praised Wanna One's impressive teamwork.

Aside from TV show appearances, Wanna One is also busy with their very own Wanna One Go: X-CON show. They are also set to appear in Unexpected Q this week along with the members of WINNER, Lovelyz, SEVENTEEN, and MOMOLAND.
