'Supernatural' Season 13 Finale Spoilers: Sam And Dean Winchester Might Stop Heaven From Shutting Down, Which Brother Is Responsible?
The end is near for Supernatural Season 13, and it looks like the future is bleak for Sam and Dean Winchester. After all, the brothers appear to be taking on too much, from trying to rescue Jack and Mary Winchester from Apocalypse World to dealing with Lucifer himself. But is it possible that the Supernatural Season 13 finale will reveal that Heaven will officially shut its doors? There is even a possibility that one of the Winchesters could be responsible for the shutdown in "Let the Good Times Roll."
The idea of Heaven closing its doors certainly sounds like a horrible thought not just for Sam and Dean Winchester but for Castiel and the rest of the angels as well. Nevertheless, there are speculations that the events in the Supernatural Season 13 finale will lead to major changes in Supernatural Season 14.
The synopsis for Supernatural Season 13 Episode 23 confirms that Sam and Dean Winchester will "continue to be tested in the battle between good and evil." In addition to that, the season finale could feature "one impulsive decision" that is set to "alter the lives[sic] of one the brothers forever." Naturally, fans believe it might have something to do with Jack's fate. However, others think the wrong move will end up shutting down Heaven for good in "Let the Good Times Roll."
But is it possible that one of the archangels will attempt to save Heaven in the Supernatural Season 13 finale? Fansided points out that the chances of Gabriel playing a major role to keep Heaven open are pretty slim. Nevertheless, fans are hoping things will work out for Sam and Dean Winchester ahead of the next season.

Another theory suggests that the mission to re-open Heaven if it ever ends up getting shut down, will become the major plot in Supernatural Season 14. Sam and Dean Winchester might end up having to look for God and Amara in an effort to fix the issue. This could also be a great way to bring back Chuck Shurley and his sister the Darkness after the events in the Supernatural Season 13 finale.
Fans will need to wait a bit longer before seeing the Supernatural Season 13 finale, which premieres on May 17. In the meantime, Supernatural Season 13 Episode 22 will air on The CW on May 10.
