Fans who want to know a bit more before the third Five Nights at Freddy's novel arrives next month are in luck. Thanks to an Amazon listing, some details on the plot of the upcoming novel, which is titled "The Fourth Closet," have been revealed, thereby giving people a glimpse of what it has to offer.

As fans might have already guessed, FNAF's third novel will answer all the questions left by "The Twisted Ones," the series' second novel. Previously, Charlie was captured by Twisted Freddy and was, unfortunately, placed into the springlocks' trap.

Initially, Charlie's friends assumed that she might have been crushed to death with the activation of the suit's mechanisms. However, this assumption was challenged near the end of the novel when a woman arrived at the diner. To the shock of Charlie's friends, the woman seems to look like her, but they can't be sure if the new arrival is indeed Charlie or someone else, especially taking into account that Charlie is supposed to be dead. Thankfully, the listing already teased that the new novel will definitely answer what actually happened to Charlie.

What really happened to Charlie? It's the question that John can't seem to shake, along with the nightmares of Charlie's seeming death and miraculous reappearance. John just wants to forget the whole terrifying saga of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, but the past isn't so easily buried.

However, Charlie's friends won't have the luxury of time to try to unravel Charlie's mystery. A new animatronic pizzeria has opened in town, and a new wave of kidnappings has started. Bonded by the events of the past, John, Jessica, Marla, and Carlton reunite and try to solve the case of these missing children.

What is certain is that fans will meet Charlie again in the upcoming FNAF novel. What is not so certain, however, is if this particular Charlie is the same Charlie they knew as their friend in the past or a totally different entity.

"The Fourth Closet" is still written by FNAF game creator Scott Cawthon and co-authored by Kira Breed-Wrisley. The novel will be released on June 26, 2018, and will cost $5.99 on Kindle. There will also be a paperback version which will cost $9.99.
