It has been more than two years since One Punch Man Season 1 ended. Although the coming of One Punch Man Season 2 is already announced, fans are still waiting to find out when the anime series' second installment will be released. So, to give fans some updates of what is about to come, here is everything they need to know.

One Punch Man Season 2's New Production House

In Season 1, One Punch Man was handled by Madhouse until it was passed to J.C. Staff to produce One Punch Man Season 2. The anime series' director, Shingo Natsume, also stepped down as he is set to be replaced by Chikara Sakurai, per Otaku Art.

It was also confirmed the show's original voice actors would return to reprise their roles in One Punch Man Season 2. Makot Furukawa and Max Mittelman will return as Saitama, while Kaito Ishikawa and Zach Aguilar will once again voice the character of Genos.

New Character Coming In One Punch Man Season 2

Aside from the original returning cast, there will be a new face in One Punch Man Season 2 in the form of Garou, which was announced at the Anime Japan in Tokyo. Although the character has been known as a part of the manga series, this will be the first time Garou will be seen in the animated show, per Geek.

The disciple of Bang had been mentioned in the first season's episode 10, but he was just seen as a shadow. So, in One Punch Man Season 2, fans can finally see him in full glory. According to OtakuPort, Garou will be voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa. He is a hero monster who has a big fascination with monsters.

One Punch Man Season 2's Trailer Release

Also at the Anime Japan in Tokyo, it was revealed there would be an event called One Punch Man Maji Gakuensai happening on August 12. Here, it is quite expected a new and first-ever trailer for One Punch Man Season 2 will be revealed. There are reports this is the event's sole purpose, to give an update on the much-awaited anime series.

In fact, this is not the first time someone teased something about One Punch Man Season2's trailer, per Comicbook. To recall, the show's character designer, Chikashi Kubota, revealed the teaser video might be unveiled in no time when a fan asked him some updates about his upcoming projects.

"As for One Punch Man 2, he answered it would be before Evangelion Final," the fan said on Twitter. JC Staff has yet to reveal the second season's official release date, but it is expected to come in the fall of 2018—although it could also be delayed.
