Three members of Korean boy band GOT7 made it to the U.S. news, but they are not the subject of it. JB, Mark, and Youngjae were caught by the camera of ABC7 News among the crowd at a busy street in Los Angeles, California.

The network was running a news segment with a headline "Venice Breaking Up With Los Angeles" when eagle-eyed fans of GOT7 spotted JB, Mark, and Youngjae walking down a street of LA. Reports indicate that the trio was in LA at the time to shoot the album jacket of 7 for 7.

The idols released the album in October 2017. However, the news footage was recently aired. This means the video in which the GOT7 members were seen was stock footage of the network.

Fans poked fun at the boys' unexpected appearance on American news. Some commented "omg so funny" or "Of course, its GOT7 LOL." The clip also caught the attention of GOT7 member BamBam, who took to Twitter to comment: "Random ..." along with a laughing emoji.

GOT7's JB New Track

The leader of the Korean boy band recently performed his self-composed track "Rainy." In the recent episode of KBS' Hyena on the Keyboard, JB presented the track Park Jin Young to ask for the music producer's thoughts on his song. JB nervously had a sit-down talk with Park as the song played on the speakers. Fortunately, the producer gave positive feedback on JB's track.

JB then sang the song for the first time in the show. "Rainy" was officially released on April 21. GOT7, on the other hand, is still promoting their latest EP, titled Eyes On You, and its title track "Look." The group's eighth EP was released last month.

Additionally, they are also promoting the ChildFund Korea's "3rd Thank-You Letter Competition." The K-pop group was recently chosen to be the ambassadors of the event, which was first launched in 2016. This year's competition is titled "Thank You, Teacher."

In the event, students from elementary, middle, and high school across South Korea are encouraged to write letters about their teachers. It aims to develop the character of each student through education.

As ambassadors, GOT7 will be promoting the event by appearing on posters, videos, and other promo materials. The "3rd Thank-You Letter Competition" will kick off on May 1 and will end on July 20.
