Wanna One Tops Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation Leaving BTS, Black Pink, And More Behind
It looks like 2018 is Wanna One's year as the South Korean boy band continues to thrive during this time. In fact, the "I Promise You" hitmakers successfully tops other famous K-pop idols, like BTS, Black Pink, and more, in brand value for April.
According to Metro, Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation revealed Wanna One topped this month's data, surpassing BTS, Twice, Winner, and a lot more. With 103,939,104 data checked from March 20 to April 21, the group managed to exceed other famous South Korean idols' statistics.
In fact, Wanna One's total data for the month of April went up by 5.77 percent compared to the boy band's figures from March with only 98.26 million. This time, Min-Hyun, Seong-wu, Kuan-lin, Jin-young, Daniel, Ji-sung, Jae-hwan, Dae-Hwi, Ji-hoon, Woo-jin, and Sung-Woon got 12.05 million reputation score. Evidently, they climbed up by 10.33 percent from their previous 10.92 million figures. They also got 89.66 percent of positive reaction.
Following Wanna One is BTS. V, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, RM, Jimin, and J-Hope got the second place with 8.02 million. Unfortunately, the fan-favorite "Mic Drop" singers got low figures compared to the 11.07 million they got last month.
Additionally, Twice took the third spot with 7.94 million. Just like Wanna One, these girls' ranking increased from their ninth spot in March with 3.57 million scores to third this time. From fifth last month, Red Velvet now sits in fourth place with 7.04 million data. It increased by 36.65 percent from 5.15 million.
Others who follow Wanna One's ranking are iKon with 4.99 million data. They were placed in third place last month with 7.99 million; thus, they fell by 37.48 percent. Next is Black Pink with 4.91 million, EXO with 4.66 million, IU with 3.69 million, Winner with 3.59 million, Oh My Girl with 3.07 million, and Big Bang with 2.33 million.
Also on the list following Wanna One are Momoland with 2.32 million, Chunghwa with 2.26 million, Bolbbalgan4 with 2.23 million, Punch with 2.13 million, Seventeen with 2.12 million, Mamamoo with 2.09 million, 10cm with 2.09 million, Nilo with 1.69 million, and BTOB with 1.65 million.
Meanwhile, Wanna One member Kang Daniel also managed to top the South Korean boy bands' individual members' brand reputation index.
