The pointy chin of EXID member Hani has been making a buzz lately, much like their comeback single "Lady." Netizens are freaking out on how pointed Han's chin has become.
Hani and the rest of the EXID members dropped their comeback single, "Lady," on Monday. The girl group took a nod to the '90s retro trend, and Hani is noticeable with her vibrantly-colored hair. However, her red hair is not the cause of the buz,z but rather, it's her chin.
Many netizens have shared their mostly negative comments about her extremely pointy chin. Others speculate that the EXID member may have undergone plastic surgery recently, while some suggested Hani used filters or edited her selfies. In Hani's latest photos, it can also be noticed that she looks different. Her chin has more sharp edges than before.
"Omg her chin can stab me", one fan commented. "Her chin looks gross. She went too far with the procedure this time," another said.
This is not the first time Hani has been accused of having plastic surgery. In 2016, some fans defended the singer saying Hani's face changed because she lost weight.
A V-shape face has become an obsession to some, particularly in women. Hence, cosmetic surgery is very common in the country.
EXID Thoughts About "Lady" Success
EXID shared their thoughts on the success of their newest title track "Lady." The K-pop female group admitted that the success of "Lady" is meaningful for them since they have attempted a completely new concept and genre in the new song. In "Lady," the girls pay homage to the popular songs from the 90s. It is also a departure from the group's previous sexy concepts.
"It was a concept that was hard for us to try because of our image. Since many people have expectations about our sexiness, we hesitated. The track came out and it was perfect for retro. Since the song came out that way, we thought that it was a good chance for us to try it," said LE, who co-produced and co-wrote the track.
"Lady" is the band's most recent project since the release of Full Moon in November 2017. Solji participated in the recording of the track, but was absent in the promotions and in the music video. The singer is still recovering from surgery.
The quintet had their debut in 2012, but the group gained attention two years later with the single "Up & Down." The track did not gain much attention at first, but it appeared back on music charts after a fan-recording of EXID's sexy live performance became viral. The recording was focused solely on Hani's sensual dance moves on stage.
