‘Hyori’s Homestay 2’ Update: A Relationship Is Blossoming Between Girls’ Generation Member Yoona And Park Bo Gum

Lee Hyori is sick and her husband Lee Sang Soon has gone to Seoul for work in the recent episode of Hyori's Homestay 2. But, Hyori has nothing to worry about. Her guesthouse staff member, Girls' Generation member Yoona and actor Park Bo Gum, took care of her and their home while she stayed in bed.

During the fifth day of the B&B operations on Jeju Island, Hyori has expressed how impressed she is with what her two workers have accomplished in her bed and breakfast that is packed with guests. The two show perfect teamwork managing the B&B while Hyori was sick.

Park took care of the guests and continued to work around the house without taking a break. He worked late making Yoona worried and she soon urged him to stop working. Yoona, later on, thanked her co-worker for helping her out and also told Park how comfortable she is working with him. The actor responded by saying that he is glad that he could help Yoona in Hyori's homestay.

The next morning, Park Bo Gum helped Yoona in preparing breakfast. He started to cook the rice cake soup for the guests while Yoona made the egg garnish for the soup. The guests and Yoona admired the taste of Park's soup. Hyori also praised Park's skills in cooking.

Park Bo Gum And Yoona's Relationship in Hyori's Homestay 2

A friendship is definitely blossoming between the two. As for a romantic affair, it still remains to be seen. Directors Jung Hyo Min and Ma Gun Young have earlier pointed out that their show doesn't deal with such an idea when asked about the possibility of any romantic feelings developing between Park and Yoona.

"The two were in perfect sync with each other in terms of their work at the homestay. As they are a senior employee and a part-time worker, Yoona had come first and was doing well at the work, and Park Bo Gum worked hard too so they were in perfect sync," the directors told Star News in an interview (via Soompi).

Yoona And Lee Hyori's Serious Talk About Life

The two ladies' bond in JTBC's Hyori's Homestay 2 becomes deeper as they share a heart-to-heart-talk in the recent episode. After a long day of work, Yoona went to sleep next to Hyori in her recording studio.

Hyori told the K-pop idol that she is thankful for her hard work, but also admitted that she was initially worried in letting Yoona do all the work. Then the ladies opened up about what they think about each other.

"At first, I was worried about you because you looked so delicate, but after seeing you today, I realized I have nothing to worry about. You are so strong, and I think you're perfectly capable of handling things on your own. Whenever you're having a hard time, remember my words. You live life alone," the singer/actress told Yoona.

"You're right. You live life alone. I never dreamed that we would meet like this. I realize that you must've gone through everything before. It's amazing that I was able to meet someone like you," Yoona responded.

Before they fell asleep, Hyori recommended a song that she liked to Yoona and also invited her to go for a walk on the beach the next day. Hyori's Homestay 2 airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. KST on JTBC.
