Harry Styles Raises Question About His Sexuality Once Again In New Song ‘Medicine’
Harry Styles has sparked a buzz about his sexuality after he debuts his new song "Medicine" in his concerts this week. The song's lyrics made many to question Styles' sexuality once again.
Styles sang two new songs during his concert in Switzerland and in Paris. The lyrics of one of the songs, "Medicine," raises a red flag among fans as it suggests intimate relationships with both men and women. Several videos of Styles singing the unreleased track were quickly shared online along with a question on whether or not it is the singer's "come out" song. Some believe that it is Styles' nod on his rumored bisexuality and many dubbed the song as the singer's "bisexual anthem."
"Tingle running through my blood, fingers to my toes / Tingle running through my bones / The boys and the girls are here I mess around a bit / And I'm okay with it / I'm coming down/ I figured out I kinda like it / And when I sleep I'm gonna dream of how you tasted," Styles can be heard singing at his concert.
"Chanel by Frank Ocean and Medicine by harry styles are bisexual anthems. you can't change my mind," one fan wrote on Twitter.
Styles rumored girlfriend Camille Rowe and his mother Anne were reportedly spotted in the audience in his Paris concert. Regardless of whether or not it is Styles' "bisexual anthem," it looks like his fans are pleased that he shared the songs that didn't make it on his self-titled album.
Harry Styles' Rumored Bisexuality History
The latest buzz about his new song is not the first time the sexuality of the 24-year-old singer was questioned. Styles has been romantically linked to a number of celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner. Despite these relationship rumors with well-known personalities, speculations surrounding his sexuality continues. There was even a rumor that the singer had a romantic relationship with 1D bandmate Louis Tomlinson.
In a 2013 interview with British GQ, he shut down the rumor and called it "annoying." In May 2017 during his interview with The Sun, the issue was brought up again. Styles said he "never felt the need" to define his sexual orientation. A few months later, the "Sign of the Times" hitmaker waved a pride flag during his first solo tour show in San Francisco, California.
Styles is a big supporter of the LGBTQ community. He wore the LGBTQ symbol as a cape during a performance with One Direction in New York in 2015. He also manifested his support to gay NFL Player Michael Sam by wearing the football player's jersey at the 1D concert in St. Louis in 2014.
He also shared the LGBTQ symbol a couple of times in his social media accounts.
