Avatar: The Last Airbender fans, you're in for a treat. Just when you thought it's over for you, it's actually not! It might have ended in 2008 but the adventures of Aang and Team Avatar aren't over.

The Adventure Continues...

A new one-shot anthology comic titled "Avatar: The Last Airbender - Team Avatar" Tales will be coming out earlier than expected, which will be in September. It is subtitled as "Imbalance" from the Dark Horse.

The new story arc will be a trilogy, which will see Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph struggle with a conflict between benders and non-benders. This will be the first part of the trilogy, which is titled "Avatar: The Last Airbender - Imbalance Part One." It will be written by Faith Erin Hicks with art by Peter Wartman. They are in collaboration with series co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko.

The other comic is titled "Avatar: The Last Airbender - Team Avatar Tales, a one-shot anthology that will hold a collection of stories from various creators such as Hicks, Gene Luen Yang, Carla Speed McNeil and many more.

Team "Avatar Tales" will be released on September 5, while  "Imbalance Part One" will be hitting the shelves on October 10.

Blu-Ray Version Is Coming

We know you're missing the series, luckily, a Blu-Ray version will be released in the summer. It comes in a beautiful boxed set along with numerous chapter audio commentaries, animation tests, and other exciting bonus features.

Avatar: The Last Airbender took over Nickelodeon in 2005 and it ran for three years and three seasons. It opened our eyes to the world of four nations and the benders, and the avatar.

No worries, though, there are still more Avatar: The Last Airbender adventures coming your way. The huge fan base it garnered over the years will be thrilled.
