‘Attack on Titan’ Season 3 Updates: Positive Indication From Hiroyuki Sawano, Human Vs. Human Fight May Be Highlighted

There may not be an exact airing date for Attack on Titan Season 3, but its main soundtrack composer recently teased the viewers through a message online. The series is among that horde of anime series that have gained huge popularity among anime lovers.

Music Composer Hiroyuki Sawano's dedication revealed

The making of Attack on Titan Season 3 seems to have been completed. The music composer of Blue Exorcist, Hiroyuki Sawano posted on his official Twitter account on February 26 about his ongoing projects. He said that there are just two days left for the completion of February and he successfully created music for part two of Thunderbolt Fantasy. He further said that he had already started working on the music production of the much-awaited Attack on Titan Season 3.

According to Comicbook, the 37-year old Japanese composer is always busy with the last part of Thunderbolt Fantasy. He will finish working on Attack on Titan Season 3 soon so that the series can be premiered this summer. Even the theme song should be completed in advance so that it can be launched with the first official trailer.

The critics believe that the success behind Attack on Titan's previous episodes not only brought success due its ingenious plot, but also the soundtrack played an important role in it. Sawano had used more intense composition in the series' first season than the second.

On the other hand, there is no confirmation that the upcoming series will bring back its fan-favorite theme musician. The popularity of J-Rock band Linked Horizon took a big leap after they performed Hajime Isayama-illustrated series' first theme song. Even the group was made to come back in Season 2 also. As far as their participation in Season 3 is concerned, there is a big possibility for their return.

Series may deal with human vs. human fight

The anime series' story always centered on the protagonist Eren Yeager. A latest visual released on Twitter by Attack on Fans shows Eren is just sitting next to the squad leader Levi who is showing off a gun. This indicates that the upcoming season will highlight more human vs. human fights compared to total Titan action.

Attack on Titan Season 3 will return in the summer of 2018.
