‘The Incredibles 2’ Trailer Highlights Jack-Jack’s Developing Powers, Villain’s Identity Revealed

The Incredibles 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2004 superhit animated superhero movie The Incredibles is all set to hit the big screens in June. The newly released trailer for the upcoming movie gives a glimpse into the plot's true antagonist.

Previously it was revealed that The Incredibles 2 would show Jack-Jack highly capable of turning into fire, floating, shooting lasers, teleporting, becoming a small monster etc. The trailer shows the youngest member of the Parr family, Jack-Jack's developing powers. He is seen demonstrating his unpredictable powers. The sequel is expected to further focus on his abilities as he joins his superhero family in their battle against crime.

The trailer highlights Mr. Incredible aka Bob Parr, the father of the family who has superhuman strength. He is seen taking care of the children. The trailer shows him falling asleep during while reading a storybook (named Doozles are Dozing) to Jack-Jack. He (Jack-Jack) hits his face with his left palm to wake him up and complete the story.

According to Nerdist, Winston Deavor is identified as the true villain in the upcoming sequel The Incredibles 2. Winston along with his sister Evelyn Deavor (voiced by Catherine Keener) leads a telecommunication organization. He is a big superhero devotee and Mr. Incredible (Bob) previously considered him (in the original movie) as a good person. But now, it is revealed that he had put on a mask of a gentleman.

The returning of fans' favorite characters Helen Parr (voiced by Holly Hunter) and Lucius Best aka Frozone (Samuel L Jackson) were officially declared earlier. While the mother of the family, Helen (who can easily stretch her body into multiple shapes and forms) is somewhere else being a hero, Bob gives his effort in assisting Robert Parr aka Dash (voiced by Huck Milner) to accomplish his Mathematics homework. He (Dash) struggles with the subject due to his lack of interest in it. He says his dad to abide by the process (to solve an equation) given in the book instead of applying his own process, as reported by Medium.

The Incredibles 2 will be released in the big theatres on June 15, 2018.
