'The Walking Dead,' 'Fear the Walking Dead' Crossover Update: 'TWD' Season 8 Will Make Its Way To 'FWD' Season 4

It looks like something big is about to happen in the upcoming The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead crossover. In an interview with the show's creator Robert Kirkman, he hinted that TWD Season 8 will lead directly to its spin-off series.

"This half of season eight leads directly into Fear the Walking Dead season four, which will shake that show in a majorly cool way," the 39-year-old comic book writer wrote in #176 of The Walking Dead comics' Letter Hacks section.

So, this just means that Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 might feature a major time jump when it returns in April, Digital Spy reported.

It has been known that Morgan Jones (Lennie James) will be coming to Fear the Walking Dead. This just suggested that he is going to survive The Walking Dead Season 8.

There are also assumptions that Rick Grimes will also do the crossover. To recall, the 44-year-old actor told Entertainment Weekly that his character and Morgan's story is about to continue.

"It was a very, very sad back eight," he said. He also added that there will be a lot and major goodbyes in The Walking Dead Season 8, but he and James are about to meet again. He even teased that he and Morgan's storyline and connection has always been part of The Walking Dead's storyline.

Meanwhile, at the recent Walker Stalker Cruise 2018, Kirkman revealed that if he had the chance, he would like to change Tyreese's (Chad Coleman) storyline. If the story would just permit, he would like to revive this pacifistic character.

He admitted that he is starting to miss Tyreese's character is the comic books. He even felt great that he had the chance to write his storyline once again for the show. Aside from being a cool guy, Kirkman added that he was gentle but ill-equipped with that hammer that he had to use to smash people's heads.

Fear the Walking Dead Season 4 will begin on April 15. The Walking Dead Season 8, on the other hand, will return on March 4, both shows on AMC.
