BTS has been an inspiration to many, not just to their fans in Korea but even to the other people in the U.S. The group's member Jimin also plays a major role in giving motivation to the young ones as he recently gives his support to the student of his former school, Hoedong Elementary School.

The 22-year-old star's alma mater is said to be closing down and Jimin is saddened by the news. With that, to make Hoedong Elementary School's students happy in his own little way, he sent them some autographed BTS albums.

Not only that, the South Korean singer even paid for the students' school uniforms that are about to graduate from middle school. Proud of what its talent has done, Big Hit Entertainment revealed that news about Jimin's good deed.

"He sent over autographed albums and uniforms for some graduating students," it said in a statement, according to All KPop. Jimin's father, on the other hand, felt like it is a shame that Hoedong Elementary School will be closed, thus he decided that they have to do something for them.

Meanwhile, aside from the school's students and their fans in Korea, BTS also plays an inspiration to the U.S. ice dance skaters Maia and Alex Shibutani. They are two-time bronze medalists at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

In an interview via Yonhap News, the Olympians revealed that the known K-Pop band motivates them to work hard on what they do and do everything to reach the top. In fact, in a snap Alex shared, the duo can be seen holding Team USA hats with the BTS members' name on it.

Alex explained that he has a lot of respect for the group, especially to the things that they have accomplished with their discipline. He also said that BTS is one of the most famous Korean boy bands in the U.S.

"We have a lot of respect [for BTS]. It's so excited that we saw them on the billboard in the Time Square," he said. As an Asian-American living in the U.S., he also explained that they haven't seen a lot of Asians that look like them while growing up in an American country. But, they know they have to be better just like their favorite Korean boy band.
