Time To Park the 'Sad Jen' Posts Following Jennifer Aniston Justin Theroux Divorce
The Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux divorce got everybody sighing and exclaiming out loud why does not anybody ever stay together anymore. Just when celebrity watchers have witnessed so much drama unfold among Hollywood's A-list couples who headed towards splitsville, along comes Jen and Justin's official statement confirming their separation.
It is hard not to love the two popular stars who have done several good projects for television and the big screen. Not so long ago, in an interview with Architectural Digest that featured the couple's Los Angeles home, the svelte actress had stated: "I look around at my husband and my dogs and our home, and there's nowhere else I want to be."
Many fans, as well as close friends of Anniston and Theroux, had hoped that they would find a way to reassess their relationship and save their marriage, but that was not meant to be. The two couple said that the decision to split up was made at the end of last year.
The news saddened many fans of the ex-"Friends" actress as well as "The Girl on the Train" and "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" actor. As a woman tweeted, "Is it asking too much to want to see Jennifer Aniston happy? "
Indeed, the divorce -- that some quarters say they saw coming -- sent the gossip mill into overdrive.
Some camps describe Aniston as truly heartbroken and have turned to Scottish actor Gerard Butler for solace. Aniston and Butler have reportedly stayed close since they dated after filming 2010's The Bounty Hunter, Express reported.
Though a rekindled romance may seem like a remote possibility, many people opined that Butler will certainly be at Aniston's side when she is ready. Many other sources have noted that Aniston has continued with her usual routines because life goes on, even after another failed marriage.
Notwithstanding the Twitter sentiments and posts (including the non-dying Brad-Jen reunion speculation) that some people think may have emanated from her, the Jennifer Aniston-Justin Theroux romance is a closed chapter for now. Nothing could change the fact that the actress was happy while the union lasted and that in itself counted for something.
No "Sad Jen" tweets nor a pity party are necessary for the gorgeous actress whose star continues to shine. One of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses and endorsers recently had a blast celebrating her 49th birthday with friends.
