Honor V10 With Front Fingerprint Scanner Clears TENAA Certification Ahead Of Launch
Huawei is expected to launch the Honor V10. Ahead of the impending launch event, the Honor V10 has appeared on TENAA, thus revealing the real pictures of the device and some of its key specifications.
A new TENAA listing has surfaced, showing an Honor device which looks like the rumored V10, only with a front-mounted fingerprint reader. An earlier listing revealed an Honor V10 without front buttons and an 18:9 screen so it is speculated that there might be two Honor V10's similar to Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Huawei Mate 10, as reported by GSM Arena.
The TENAA document shows that the Honor V10 will present with a 5.99-inch TFT display with the FHD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. That gives it the 18:9 aspect ratio. The display size is very much evident in the picture of the front aspect. however, one surprising inclusion is the front home key which definitely also doubles as the fingerprint scanner, as reported by Gizmochina.
Moreover, the upcoming Honor V10 boasts a 3950mAh battery. Coupled with the efficient Kirin 970 processor, the device will likely be one good battery saver. The battery is a built-in battery while it will be charged via a USB Type-C port on the device.
The Honor V10 is also listed with a 2.35GHz processor believed to be the Kirin 970 chip. Already, Huawei had disclosed the device will launch with a Kirin 970 chip. The device will also have a 20MP+16MP dual camera setup at the rear while the front camera will be the 13MP sensor. There will be 6GB of RAM and 2 internal storage options of the 64GB variant as well as a 128GB version. However, the storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.
On the software side, it isn't clear what version the Honor V10 will ship with out of the box. Since the flagship Huawei Mate 10 series runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, there is an also chance that the Honor V10 too will get released with the latest version of Android pre-installed.
