Bandai Namco Releases Two GameStop Exclusive Figures Related To 'Dragon Ball FighterZ'

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently added new fighters to its upcoming 2.5D fighting game, "Dragon Ball FighterZ" giving fighting game enthusiasts something to shout about. Creating more hype around "DBFZ," the game publisher accidentally dropped a major hint about the game's plot on Wednesday, November 22.

Bandai Namco has announced the arrival of two GameStop exclusive figures that have a connection with FighterZ. The recently announced physical figures that are slated to be launched side by side with the game include Super Saiyan Vegeta and Super Saiyan Goku. A report by PlayStationLifestyle claims these figures have accidentally spilled the beans about Dragon Ball FighterZ's plot.

On Monday, November 20, Bandai America made a shocking revelation on it official Twitter account page confirming that these figures are actually clones that have put the planet in jeopardy. Comic Book's Robert Workman deems this as an indication that there will be more clones looking to fight with fan-favorite heroes as well as villains under Android 21's supervision.

The clone's color scheme already hinted at the fact that they are evil. If reports about Dragon Ball FighterZ's plot that are doing rounds on the internet are anything to go by, these clones will be controlled by a mysterious android character. Although this piece of information has been teased before in the form of trailers, Workman believes this is a sign of an approaching uproar. Bandai America also confirmed that the Limited Edition GameStop exclusive Dragon Stars figures from "DBFZ" are currently up for pre-order. You can head straight to Bandai America's official Twitter page and enter a giveaway wherein the company is handing out several figures. To enter, all you have to do is retweet and follow Bandai America on Twitter. Their Twitter handle is @BandaiAmerica.

According to the official product description from GameStop's pre-order page, The Dragon Stars Series comprises well-detailed and articulated "Dragon Ball Super" figures. With at least 16 points of articulation, standing 6.5-inch tall, and having a set of extra hands, these figures can be posed in various positions.

Scheduled to launch alongside "Dragon Ball FighterZ," these figures bear a striking resemblance to the characters in the game. The company will be selling each figure separately. The collectible figures will come in a premium collector's packaging.
