'Resident Evil 7' End of Zoe DLC Gets A New Trailer [VIDEO]

Capcom is all set to release a couple of new DLC including "Not a Hero" and the "End of Zoe," on December 12.

On December 12, survival-horror fans will have something to shout about in the form of a brand new DLC dubbed, End of Zoe for Capcom's "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard." At the same time, "RE7" fans will be able to get their hands on a corresponding Not a Hero DLC as well.

The already delayed Not a Hero DLC (downloadable content) surfaced online in the form of a trailer, giving "RE7" fans a brief glimpse of the dangerous games Lucas Baker is expected to play with the main character. The other downloadable content that is slated to roll out in three weeks time is the End of Zoe DLC.

The "Resident Evil 7" Not a Hero DLC hints at the return of some Saw-inspired death games that are hosted by the miscreant Lucas. The new content is likely to revisit his story and of course, his twisted imagination. The End of Zoe DLC will unravel Zoe Baker's version of RE7's story. While looking for his wife Mia, Ethan Winters comes across an abandoned plantation owned by the Baker family, according to a report by PC Gamer.

It will be quite interesting to see how Lucas's sister Zoe Baker becomes the sacrificial lamb in her own house. We'll also see how her parents started out giving the impression of being friendly people.

Avid gamers who have still not completed "Resident Evil 7" should bear in mind that the recently released recap video, will have spoilers. Those looking for a short course reviewing previous events before delving into the new "RE7" DLC on December 12 are more likely to recognize the worth of the recap video as it highlights Zoe's story in a chronological order.

The video shows Zoe living with her mother and father at the Baker family plantation like normal people, but much to her chagrin, things eventually change for the worse. Zoe is left with no choice but to leave her sadistic parents. She is later spotted in the video helping Ethan live through the torture depicted in the main game, which compels him to make a decision on the dock that would change his life in a significant manner, GameRant reported.

Towards the end of the game, Ethan has to decide whether he wants to save his wife Mia or Zoe. According to the End of Zoe DLC video trailer, it looks like he will choose to save his wife over Zoe, who is left to wander around in the swamp till her body crystallizes. She crashes on to the ground but is saved by Joe, a new character who is fenced in an aura of mystery.

Although Joe has made an appearance in previously released "RE7" DLC trailers, the new video doesn't reveal any sort of information about him. What seems obvious is that he wants to save Zoe and regard her family. "RE7" is currently up for grabs for PS4, VR, Xbox One, and PC. The End of Zoe DLC will release on December 12.
