BTS Were Approached About New Collabs At The AMAs After Performance
The American Music Awards may be over, but one of the event's main acts has plenty more to do. BTS made their live TV debut in the U.S. with an energetic performance of their hit single "DNA," and the buzz around the net we all can hear. However, according to the boys, BTS may just be teaming up with some western artists for a big-time collaboration.
After the AMAs ended, BTS has turned to VLive and revealed a short video to thank their fans for all their support. Suga detailed the Army on how nervous he was before performing, but the boys all chimed in when the topic of collaborations came up, as reported by Comic Book.
While BTS was hesitant to name-drop specifics, Jin and RM did talk about the band's wish to work with Zedd. The chart-topping producer is a favorite of BTS, and each of the singers plugged Zedd in several of their pre-AMAs interviews. The producer himself tweeted to tell BTS he was down for the collaboration, but RM cautioned fans that it may not be happened, according to All K-Pop.
"We don't know if it will really happen. Zedd said he'd love but it might not happen," RM said. "You never know with this kind of thing."
Jungkook and V also revealed that they would be back 'next year', perhaps suggesting that they would be at the AMAs again. Members such as J-Hope, Suga, and Jimin talked about how amazing the stage was, and how amazing the ARMY support was. Jin has also mentioned his feelings on they felt like celebrities because everyone was kept coming up to talk to them and that it almost felt like a hidden camera. After gathering huge support from the Army, it isn't hard to see why western fans are interested in the BTS, and such interest has to multiply after looking at the BTS's performance at AMAs.
