Hi everyone. My father, Hee Young Ahn, passed away earlier this week. He’s been fighting his illness for a long time, but now he’s peacefully resting. Today is his funeral. I was so devastated and couldn’t get myself to do anything. But he was so excited for my MV coming out that I wanted to finish the video for him. So I want to dedicate the video to him. My dad was the only other person in this world that loved you guys as much as I do. He would spend hours watching my videos on repeat, reading every single comment on Youtube, Instagram, FB and twitter. He even knew some fans by their user names and would often tell me comments that he really liked. He was always the first one to let me know that a video passed a million views or certain milestones. Everytime I visit home, he would be at his computer watching my playlists on repeat. Of course, he and I had many other memories and he was the best father, mentor, role model, friend I could’ve ever had. But even until the end, he was at heart my #1 fan. Which is why I am sharing this with you guys. My dad loved you guys so much and he was so grateful for all your support for me. I’d love for you guys to write something, anything for him, because I’m still sure that his favorite thing to do right now is reading through my comments section. Thank you, and my dad thanks you too 아빠, 읽고있지? 다들 아빠한테 한마디씩해준데~ 천천히 잘 읽고 편히 쉬고있어! 사랑해 아빠, 벌써 너무 보고싶다~
