BTS Drops First Teaser For 'MIC Drop' Remix With Steve Aoki
BTS has unveiled the first official teaser for "MIC Drop" remix, a collaboration with Steve Aoki and will feature rapper Desiigner! The MV teaser was uploaded to BigHit Entertainment official Youtube channel on November 17 at midnight KST and quickly gained more than 3 million views in less than a day. The video begins with Steve Aoki walking to his DJ equipment and BTS appears dancing in a room that seems like a studio after the music starts. The setting then changes into a bigger place where the boys are dancing vigorously and ends with the iconic "MIC Drop".
The short but breathtakingly beautiful video also gives a sneak peek of their upcoming collaboration with the famous EDM producer, hinting that the song will totally be epic just by hearing the very first melodies. While fans are already thrilled over the given teaser, many express their excitement in the comment section of the teaser as they cannot wait for the full track.
Previously, the remix version of "MIC Drop" was supposed to hit the air on November 17. However, after a long discussion with their US partner, BigHit Entertainment officially announced that they will push back the release date to November 24. The decision was made as they thought it would be better if BTS finished their schedule in the United States first. The track itself is actually a b-side track in the boys' latest album "Love Yourself: Her" which the leader, RM, revealed he was inspired by Barack Obama.
Meanwhile, BTS is currently doing their promotion in the United States, by appearing in several talk shows, such as, 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', 'Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon', and 'The Late Late Show With James Corden' which the group has already recorded on November 14. They will also be performing at the 2017 American Music Awards that will be held on November 19. The grand night has amazing line up such as Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Niall Horan, Shawn Mendes, and many others. Watch the MV teaser for "MIC Drop" below!
