Fans Do Not Want Choi Si-won To Continue With 'Revolutionary Love'

Korean singer and actor Choi Si-won has been facing a backlash from Netizens. The whole hate story started when a local businesswoman died after being attacked by Choi's pet dog.

Since then there have been various hate messages from all over the world. Netizens are demanding Choi Si-won to quit from his recent show "Revolutionary Love."

Choi Si-won is the lead actor of the show and it is his first show after being discharged from the military services in August. According to reports, tvN drama's online viewer board has been showered with comments asking Choi to take the responsibility for the incident and quit the series.

One of the viewers' commented, "Either drop Choi out of it or stop filming the drama,". Someone else said,"It's insane of him to continue the drama amid the turmoil that involves a death."

The incident took place on October 6 when a 53-year old businesswoman surnamed Kim died of sepsis. The lady, who ran an upscale Korean cuisine restaurant, was bitten by Choi's dog on September 30. It is being reported that when Chois' French bulldog bit the woman he was also not on a leash.

After all the hatred seen on social media, Choi and his father apologized to the bereaved family on Saturday. They wrote," As a member of the family raising the dog, I feel greatly responsible. I should have been more careful but this is highly unfortunate that the tragic incident occurred. I deeply repent and will take measures to ensure such an incident will never recur."

Earlier, Choi's father also expressed his grief to the victim's family in a separate social media post. He wrote, "My neighbor died of blood poisoning six days after being bitten by my family's dog by accident."

He further wrote, "I've been told it is difficult to determine the exact cause of her death, due to the possibility of problems in the process of hospital treatment or secondary infection." Talking to the media a member of the deceased said that they've forgiven the Choi's family and have no plans to take any legal action against them.
