'Blue Bloods' Season 8 Episode 5 Air Date, Synopsis, Spoilers: Jamie Tries To Save A Life
Jaimie (Will Estes) will discover that, sometimes, good intentions could bring really bad things in "Blue Bloods" Season 8 Episode 5. In the upcoming episode, the youngest-born Reagan will go over and beyond to save a young woman who overdosed on drugs.
Meanwhile, it looks like the conflict between Frank (Tom Selleck) and Mayor Margaret Dutton (Lorraine Bracco) continues in "Blue Bloods" Season 8 Episode 5. A major decision will leave the police force with a conundrum and it is up to the police commissioner to deal with the ensuing chaos.
"Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a single mother whose ex-husband has a history of violence," the synopsis read (via Spoiler TV). "Also, Frank deals with the fallout when Mayor Dutton eliminates solitary confinement in prisons, and Jamie's efforts to save a young woman who overdosed on drugs has unexpected consequences."
For Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez), it is business as usual. The two, according to the synopsis, will have to investigate a murder of a single mother and her ex-husband is the prime suspect, citing his history of domestic violence.
Unfortunately, there was no mention of Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) but fans are still hoping that this time around, there will be romance between her and long-time friend/partner Jamie. In an interview with the Cheat Sheet, Estes was able to talk about the future of the two in "Blue Bloods" Season 8.
He said that, right now, he does not know either whether Eddie and Jamie will get together this season. He hopes they do just because people have been asking for it for so long, but will it actually happen? Fans have no choice but to wait and see. "Blue Bloods" Season 8 Episode 5 ("The Forgotten") will air on Oct. 27 on CBS.
