BIGBANG Members Surprise Fans With Year-End Concert
On October 19, YG Entertainment revealed that BIGBANG will be having their year-end concert this year. Titled as "BIGBANG 2017 Concert in Seoul", it will be held on December 30 and 31 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
According to All K-Pop, BIGBANG's upcoming show is a pleasant surprise for many fans who thought that last January was their last chance to witness the group in a concert. However, member T.O.P would not be able to join because of his mandatory military enlistment. Thus, only G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri will be performing in the year-end concert.
You can recall that BIGBANG celebrated their 10th anniversary with the album "MADE" and hit songs such as "Bae Bae", "Loser", "Bang Bang Bang", and "We Like 2 Party". After their "MADE" world tour in 2015, BIGBANG members have been busy promoting their solo activities and concerts. Member Daesung was the first one to hold his solo concert titled "DNA Show" in Japan on August 11. He had 30 concerts in 19 cities. As for leader G-Dragon, the K-Pop royalty and superstar recently finished his "ACT III M.O.T.T.E." world tour. He went to 19 cities with eight stops in different cities throughout North America and performed in some of the most prominent music venues in Australia, Asia, and North America, including the Tokyo Dome and Brooklyn's Barclays Center.
BIGBANG's Taeyang released his third studio album, "White Night". The eight-track album includes singles such as "Darling" and Wake Me Up". The boy group member also had his world tour, which brought him to North America in September for nine concerts in eight cities throughout the United States and Canada. According to Soompi, Seungri, the youngest member of the boy group, has worked on a variety of projects including DJing, Jiu-Jitsu, and more.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG released two songs just before T.O.P went to enlist in the military. The songs are "Last Dance" and "Fxxk It", which they also sang at the 2016 SBS Gayodaejun. You can watch their performance below.
