EXO D.O. Opens Up on His Struggles as K-pop Idol

EXO D.O. opens up about his concerns being one of South Koreas' idol. The singer revealed that he cannot do some things comfortably since his group rose to fame. But, he shared that his co-members help him get through his struggles a lot.

On Saturday, EXO D.O. made an appearance on Park Jin Young's "Party People" along with his co-members, as per Ilgan Sports. There, they performed for their fans and shared some details about their life. JYP later asked the boys about the struggles they face being a member of a popular South Korean group.

The boys then shared their stories on being a K-pop idol. However, one story caught the attention of many. EXO D.O.'s answer made the fans' hearts break.

EXO D.O. revealed that one of his dilemmas is not being able to walk on the streets peacefully. EXO is undeniably one of the popular boy bands in South Korea. Thus, fans usually want to take a photo with their idols when they get a chance to see them up-close.

Because of that, it might exhaust some K-pop idols, especially if that is the only time they have for themselves. That being said, EXO D.O added, "the fact that I can't walk comfortably while I'm still in my 20s is really tough." At first, D.O.'s wish to comfortably walk through the streets might sound simple. But for the singer, he considers this as a luxury.

But for the singer, he considers this as a luxury. He added that there were even times where he just wanted to give up because of how exhausting his job is. EXO D.O.'s answer melted the fans' hearts. 

Even so, he shared that his co-members help him overcome such difficulties. EXO D.O. also said that with his group members' help, he is able to move forward. Chen then added that those tough times that they face also becomes their "driving force" to continue with their career.
