EXO member Lay is currently making headlines. However, this is neither about his nor his group's performance. Rather, the singer-songwriter is facing a lawsuit against him.

It looks like EXO's Lay is not paying his plane tickets. However, it looks like it is not entirely his fault. According to All Kpop, Lay employed an agent to buy him plane tickets back in May.

But, allegations say that Lay's said agent did not pay the tickets in full. Because of that, the EXO member is being sued. Lay reportedly bought two tickets for two different unknown trips.

The first ticket EXO's Lay bought cost him 11, 050 yuan. On the other hand, the second plane ticket he bought cost 11, 815 yuan. All in all, the tickets cost 22, 8625 (which is around $3,500). But the airline company is now demanding to be paid with 26, 235 yuan or $4,000 because of the "financial losses" that add up to it.

Now, the EXO member's Chinese representative issued a statement about the said issue. His management explained that Lay's studio staff paid the said tickets in full and handed it to Lay's agent. It is his agent, named Liu Quan, who failed to fully pay the tickets to the airline.

EXO Lay's representatives also said that they cannot contact Lay's agent anymore. Even so, they made it clear that they are willing to pay the defaulted airfares if ever they receive further notice from the court. They will also make sure to "take actions" against Lay's agent.

By this time, EXO Lay's Chinese representatives said that they are looking into the situation to find out the truth. They also thanked the fans for their continued love and support for the 25-year-old singer-songwriter.

This is not the first time that the EXO member got caught up in a lawsuit. Earlier this year, a lawsuit if filed against lay because of breach of contract, as per Koreaboo
