Block B's P.O to Make Solo Debut Next Week with Self-Produced Single
Block B member P.O is going to release his first single as a solo artist next week. His agency Seven Seasons announced on Twitter that P.O's first-ever solo-produced track is set to drop on September 27 at 6 p.m. (KST) on Korean music streaming websites.
Block B's official Twitter feed has shared a promotional image for the upcoming single. It is a black-and-white photo showing P.O holding a newspaper with a headline that says "MEN'Z NIGHT" in big letters.

Soompi recalls that on September 12, P.O had issued a message to his fans that went, "I'm preparing a surprise event." It was the first clue that P.O had a solo project up his sleeve, one that did not involve Block B.
The popular K-pop boy band debuted six years ago. The group has weathered all kinds of controversies and trials, including an unsuccessful lawsuit against then-agency Stardom Entertainment in 2013, after which Block B signed on with Seven Seasons.
Block B met with great success on its recent comeback in February 2017. Block B's single "Yesterday" achieved an "all-kill" on release by getting to the top of six Korean music real-time charts.
P.O was a member of Block B from the beginning, and he was also part of the group's sub-unit Bastarz that formed in 2015. In all that time, he has never had a solo release until now. But he has been active on the entertainment scene, appearing in a number of TV shows including "Lipstick Prince" and "Living Together in an Empty Room." P.O is also in the cast of the drama "Temperature of Love," which premiered on the SBS network on Monday, reports the Korean Herald.
Seven Seasons has said on Twitter that the upcoming single from P.O will showcase his own distinct musical style. P.O is a rapper on Block B, but his solo track may very well present him in a different light.
