Could Josh Duggar Return to 'Counting On'?
It has been a few months now since "Counting On" fans last saw Josh Duggar. Now, the series has returned for another season, but, there is no sign of the reality star yet. With that, rumors are making rounds that he will make a comeback.
To recall, it was revealed that Josh Duggar sexually assaulted his younger siblings. And according to In Touch Weekly, he got addicted to pornography, owning numerous Ashley Madison accounts. He was also unfaithful to his wife. After the revelation, he slowly faded away from the spotlight.
Now that "Counting On" has already kicked off its pilot episode for season 6, rumors say that he will return to the hit TLC series. Josh Duggar is said to be planning to give himself a redemption. The series' ratings are also rumored to be going down, as per The Hollywood Gossip. Thus, the network wants the cheating husband back into the show to make the people talking even more.
This might be a good opportunity for Josh Duggar to take the center stage and make his name clean again. Anna recently gave birth to their fifth child, so, he might use this chance to just talk about the joy of being a dad and make up for the times he had been a horrible father. However, it is still unclear as to how long will he appear in the sixth season of "Counting On".
Josh Duggar does not have much storyline to tell the audience ever since his cheating and sexual assaults issues surfaced. That being said, if he cannot redeem himself in the sixth season of "Counting On", it is more likely that he is about to take his final bow. Well, fans should find out for themselves if what is next to the Duggar family. "Counting On" airs on TLC on Mondays at 9/8C.
