Every "Pokemon GO" fan's long-time dream could be finally happening this weekend. Friendly neighborhood data miners have dug up a deluge of information suggesting that the highly anticipated Legendary Pokemon will finally arrive during the festivities in Chicago.

Folks over at the GO Hub have scrutinized the APK assets of the recent "Pokemon GO" update (patch 0.69.0 for Android and 1.39.0 for iOS) and has successfully scraped codes that lead to the induction of Legendaries within the game. Visual assets of the update are probably one of the most interesting part of the dig as it featured upcoming items and icons for this epic game tweak.

Per the dug up files, an image for the Legendary Pass has been spotted by data miners suggesting that Legendaries will be seen during a so-called "Legendary Raids" just like the one featured in "Pokemon GO's" announcement trailer over a year ago. Hence, chances of capturing such monster in the wild are very slim.

A Legendary Victory Emblem was also seen as it featured the outline for the psychic Pokemon Lugia. Moreover, Legendary Icons for in-game maps and a neat looking Chicago Event Medal were also found within the "Pokemon GO" APK files.

Several codes within the "Pokemon GO" APK jabs about Hidden and Exclusive Raids. Details about it are still unclear, though it is believed that trainers who have an "Exclusive Raid Ticket" can join that event and the gyms that will be used during that event will be closed down. Meanwhile, for the complete rundown of the new update, trainers might want to check it here.

As for the "Pokemon GO" Fest, fans who are not able to attend the said Chicago event can still join in as it will be streamed through the game's Twitch channel. The weekend festivity will kick off this July 22 from 10 a.m. CT (8 a.m. PT) until 7 p.m. CT (5 p.m. PT) and will be hosted by Kelly Link, Britanni Johnson, Rachel Quirico, and Brandon Marty from the MYSTIC7 YouTube channel.
