'Call Of Duty WWII' Zombie Teaser Leaked; 'Doctor Who' Actor To Be Part Of The Content

The alleged title of "Call of Duty WWII's" zombie mode.

Now that it has been made known that the "Call of Duty" series will be returning to its roots to be dubbed "Call of Duty WWII," players are now anticipating its other content which is the zombie mode where waves of undead are out on a flesh-eating rampage. However, just days before being revealed at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, reports are getting rife that the trailer for the said game mode is already making rounds online and folks over at Sledgehammer Games are not happy about it.

The leaked video - entitled "Army of the Dead" - ran for almost a couple of minutes, featured a Nazi facility where one can be heard talking about the "Fourth Reich." The alleged "Call of Duty WWII" sizzler reel seems to corroborate with what the developer previously hinted as the trailer proved to be darker and more grotesque than its predecessors.

Sledgehammer's Michael Condrey, on the other hand, expressed his disappointment with the said development stating that it is frustrating for his team that the leaked video was first seen by fans instead of the original "Call of Duty WWII" zombie teaser, according to Gamespot. He went on suggesting that leaks such as this need to be rejected by the gaming industry. As of late, the game maker is exerting their best efforts in bringing down the said video on the web.

Sledgehammer also tweeted a couple of squeamish images similar to what Glen Schofield posted early on. Moreover, the tweets only bear the words "they" and "have" respectively. "Call of Duty WWII" publisher - Activision also teased the participation of actors Elodie Yung and David Tennant to the said zombie content of the game.

The "Call of Duty WWII" SDCC 2017 panel including its trailer is set to go live this Thursday, July 20. Check out a video about the upcoming game here:
