‘Game Of Thrones' Season 7 Reveals Teasers For First Three Episodes; Jon Snow, Daenerys, And Cersei Get Busy As New Rulers
In just one week, HBO will finally air the highly anticipated “Game of Thrones” Season 7. To give fans another glimpse of what is going to happen in the next season, the titles and descriptions of the first three episodes have been released.
“Game of Thrones” Season 7 is set to premiere on July 16 and aside from the action-packed teaser trailers that HBO released, nobody really knows what is going to happen in the next installment. George R.R. Martin has yet to release the last two novels of “A Song of Ice and Fire” series and without them, fans especially the ones who have followed the story through the novels are left in the dark. However, HBO gives another blast of updates, giving fans a heads up of the new season.
The season opener has been titled “Dragonstone” and series creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have written the said episode. Earlier teasers of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 revealed that Daenerys Targaryen will be heading to Blackwater Bay to take back the ancestral seat of House Targaryen. The newly revealed description of the first episode confirms that Daenerys is going home. Meanwhile, Jon Snow will be busy organizing the defense in the North, most likely against the White Walkers, and Cersei Lannister has her hands full scheming to even the odds.
The second episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 titled "Stormborn" hints that Daenerys will be meeting someone unexpected while her new hand, Tyrion Lannister plans the conquest of Westeros. While Daenerys and Tyrion are racking their heads for the perfect plan, Jon Snow is facing a revolt. Jon Snow and his sister, Sansa Stark took back Winterfell in “Game of Thrones” Season 6 but because he was a bastard, not everyone was keen on having him as the new King of the North.
As opposed to the eventful turn of things in the first two episodes, the third episode of “Game of Thrones” Season 7 titled "The Queen's Justice" teases a calmer episode. Daenerys will be holding court while Jaime Lannister will be learning from his mistakes. Meanwhile, it has been teased that Cersei will be returning a gift and fans are guessing this isn’t any ordinary gift.
