‘Dragon Ball Super’ Episode 98 Recap And Review: One Vs Eight!

"Dragon Ball Super" Episode 98 started with Goku being taunted by Rou. Rou escaped in the previous episode, but this time, no chance.
Meanwhile, Whis explained that Goku is in base mode to conserve energy as Super Saiyan Blue mode uses up energy. Champa thought that if Goku is eliminated then Universe 7 will be destroyed in no time. Everyone wondered if Goku can be other fighters on his own.
Goku was aware of Basil's poison attack and he put barrier around himself to protect him from the poison. Elsewhere, Freeza beat up Napapa and later witnessed Goku having a good time. "Maybe it is time I start enjoying myself too," Freeza said to himself.
Freeza went on to pick Gargoyle guy as his playmate and fired a ki blast at him. Meanwhile, Goku told Vegeta that he can't sense the Ki of Trio de Dangers, but according to Vegeta, Goku seemed to be making excuses. Universe 9 fighters joined the fight and Goku and Vegeta were up against eight fighters. Like Goku, Vegeta made a barrier around himself too. In "Dragon Ball Super" Episode 98, Goku was having issues hurting the iron body of the dragon warrior. In order to annoy Beerus, Champa cheered on Universe 9's fighters.
Goku and Vegeta had a tough time dealing with the fighters and even the Omni-Kings looked worried. The absolute zero attack froze Vegeta. But, Vegeta could still attack with his frozen fist. Meanwhile, Goku took time to turn to Super Saiyan mode. Vegeta's another hand was trapped in a web by a fighter and in no time, Vegeta turned Super Saiyan too.
Towards the end only three fighters were left as most of them were ringed out. Trio de Dangers resorted to their combo attacks but, Vegeta and Goku used Final Flash and Kamehameha to eliminate them. Great Priest declared the destruction of Universe 9 and the Omni-Kings destroyed the universe barring the angel. Whis confirmed that Universe 9 was out.
